An accredited Professional Stage Hypnotist and Certified Stage Hypnotist, Brandon Dean developed his craft in Las Vegas, Nevada, the hypnosis capital of the world.
Brandon has trained in Las Vegas with the best hypnotists in the entertainment industry; most notably, his primary mentor Marc Savard and the renowned Justin Tranz. Savard’s long-running nightly show at Planet Hollywood is the number one hypnosis show in Las Vegas; Tranz headlined on The Strip for over a decade and is the only hypnotist to have a show on Broadway for over two years. He has also trained with Geoff Ronning, author of The Ronning Guide to Modern Stage Hypnosis, and he is accredited by the Stage Hypnosis Center in Litchfield, Arizona.
An expert in the subconscious mind
In addition to performing on stage, Brandon is a hypnotherapist and Certified Consulting Hypnotist accredited with the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) and a Certified Hypnosis Instructor (CHI) who trains new hypnotists, equipping them to work with clients and attain their certification with the NGH.
Brandon operates Red Chair Hypnosis (RedChairHypnosis.com), a unique, boutique private practice in hypnotherapy, where he supports clients with customized, client-centred motivational programs using hypnosis to meet their individual specific needs and goals.
Brandon is also a Smoking Cessation Specialist, trained and certified by the North American Academy of Hypnosis in Sacramento, California. As a professional personal Subconscious Success Coach, Brandon specializes in working with clients in two arenas: peak performers pushing to elevate their career game to the next level; and, middle-aged people searching to reset their life to find a new purpose and more meaningful life, in day-to-day living or career.
Brandon’s unique expertise is “Subconscious Success,” which involves working with clients to identify and correct entrenched subconscious behaviours and negative self-limiting beliefs (of which, the client is often unaware) that have been a barrier to achieving career and personal life goals.
Trained in solution-focused coaching with the Vancouver-based college Erickson International, Brandon coaches clients to identify benchmarks and requisite steps towards personal and career success, based on the client’s vision and definitions of meaningful, successful, and purposeful. A member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), Brandon’s coaching techniques follow the practices and Code of Ethics of the ICF.
Brandon’s work in hypnotherapy follows the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the NGH. He is a member of National Federation of Hypnotists (Local 104 OPEI Union) and Hypnotherapist’s Union (HU Local 472).
Brandon trained in hypnotherapy and achieved his certification with National Guild of Hypnotists studying with Jason Linett, director of Virginia Hypnosis in Alexandria, Virginia. Jason is an award-winning Certified Hypnosis Instructor and a Board Certified Hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists. Brandon also trained in Advanced Applications of Hypnotherapy and Transforming Therapy with hypnotherapy mentors John Zulli, of Sacramento, California and Marc Savard of Las Vegas, Nevada. John and Marc were students and colleagues of legendary hypnotist Gil Boyne, an American pioneer in modern hypnotherapy and the creator of Transforming Therapy. As a Smoking Cessation Specialist, Brandon trained with Ken Guzzo, founder and director of the North American Academy of Hypnosis in Sacramento, California.
A native of Nova Scotia, Brandon has lived in Halifax, Thunder Bay, Ottawa, Vancouver and Toronto. In 2019, Brandon returned to Canada’s east coast and now lives in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, with Toronto his frequent second home.
